Katelyn Ohashi was born on April 12, 1997 in Seattle, Washington. She is an American former artistic gymnast, and she is one of the most-popular USA Gymnastics, her full name is Katelyn Michelle Ohashi. Katelyn trained as an “elite” at the ‘World Olympic Gymnastics Academy’ (WOGA) in Plano, Texas, and coached by Valeri Liukin, Katelyn is a six-time 'All-American' and a four-time member of the 'USA Gymnastics' junior national team and she is also a winner of the 2013 American Cup.
As far as her family background is concerned, Katelyn father name is Richard Ohashi and mother name is Diana Ohashi, both are a former high-school gymnast. She has three older brothers, Ryan, Kyle, and Kalen.
As far as her education qualification is concerned then, Jenna completed graduating from Plano Senior High School in 2015, Katelyn attended Spring Creek Academy for motivation, Spring Creek Academy is a Dallas area Private School for "Gifted, Talented, and Highly Motivated students". Career of Katelyn Ohashi

She started her national gymnastics career competitive debut at the age of 12 in 2009 with Junior Olympic National Championships. where she earned the first position in floor exercise, second in uneven bars, fourth in the all-around, and tied for seventh in vault. She trained first time with Al Fong at Great American Gymnastics Express, When she is debut in national gymnastics.

Katelyn competed in her first elite meet at the U.S. Classic in Des Moines, Iowa, where she held the fourth position in the junior division for floor, fifth in balance beam, and ninth in the all-around category. Katelyn attended to the National Championships in Dallas, where she won the silver medal on floor exercise, placed sixth in the beam category, and finished in the tenth place in the all-around category and than, Katelyn qualified for the junior national team, after that Katelyn moved to Plano, Texas, to train at WOGA.

In 2010 Katelyn’s won silver medals in the all-around, bars, beam, and floor categories of the junior division of the 'U.S. Classic' held in Chicago. in July 2010, she won the bars title, placed third in the all-around and tied for fourth on floor At the National Championships in Hartford, Connecticut. Katelyn is also participated in Bumbo Cup in Pretoria, South Africa, and captured the junior-division silver medals on bars and beam, along with gold medals in the all-around, floor and vault.

In 2011, Katelyn was participated in City of Jesolo Trophy, She was part of the US team and U.S. win the team competition and won an individual gold medal on floor, and the silver in uneven bars, securing the third place in the all-around category.

Katelyn won American Cup in March 2013, defeating U.S. teammate Simone Biles. After that she injured with major shoulder surgery, due to which she could not participate in any competition for the rest of the year.

In 2015 Katelyn joined the UCLA Bruins gymnastics team for the 2015–2016 season.
